Some customer may ask, why don’t you use the camera head with LEDS are separated on the stainless steel housing like this?

Q: Like the picture I sent you, the head...It's good to make stainless steel all-in-I think this part will be weak and scratchy. Then it's easy to break down. 

A: We used to have one head like that, but we finally gave up this design due to the below reasons:
1. the structure camera you sent for reference is not good for production and the LEDs may not in the same position/horizon and easy to have bubble in the LED when sealed it with glue.

2. Without the lampshade, the light is very strong and easy to reflect on the object when it is with smooth surface, while the light gets through the lampshade becomes softer and can reduce the reflection to improve the image quality.
3. the lampshade is made from PC material which is with high strength and elastic coefficient, high impact strength, good fatigue resistance and good dimensional stability, although it is not strong as the metal housing, the normal strike and scratch during the sewer inspection work won’t hurt the lampshade, even if there is surface scratching on the lampshade, it won’t affect the LED light and the normal use of the camera head.

Comprehensive evaluation of the two kinds of camera design methods, the pros and cons are obvious, that’s why we use the lampshade in our camera.
